Surface Rescue Instructor Certification, in conjunction with DEMA in Las Vegas, November 21-22, is designed to give your dive team the hands-on, real-world skills that can be the difference between life and death in a water emergency. Here’s what you can expect to learn:
- Rapid Extrication Techniques: How to safely and efficiently remove an unresponsive person from the water using the Rapid Extrication Board™.
- Post-Extrication Care: Learn how to provide continuous care immediately after extrication, including CPR and oxygenation.
- Team Coordination: Understand how to work together as a team in confined spaces, like boats, to ensure a successful rescue.
- Realistic, Hands-On Drills: Practice rapid extrication and post-extrication care through realistic scenarios and confined space drills.
